PIMPLES

Pimples is a unique skin disorder.Pimples are lesions that occur when the skin’s pores are obstructed or infected. They can form for a variety of reasons. However, the mechanism involved in causing some pores to collapse and block drainage of natural oils is not really understood. Pimples may also crop up for genetic reasons. It is not clear how it can be inherited from one’s parents, but studies do indicate a high occurrence of pimples in children whose parents had it,too.
The pimples associated with adolescence almost certainly occur because of hormonal changes that take place during puberty. Both males and females get an overdose of the male hormone testosterone during this period, causing excessive generation of sebaceous fluids that invariably cause pimples.

GIVEN BELOW ARE A FEW SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES TO FIGHT PIMPLES.

1.The most basic form of pimple prevention is hygiene and preventive skin care. Regular washing of the affected areas with mild soap is a must. The soap need not necessarily contain any chemicals designed to prevent pimples .However, face washing should not be overdone or the skin will become dehydrated .

2.Care should be taken on makeup, moisturizers and other skin care products. If these products are oil based,it would just make the problem worse. Use water based products instead.

3.Generally we rub, press or squeeze our pimples.Don’t when we do this,we risk spreading the bacteria to other areas.

4.Lemon juice diluted in water can be applied externally because of its antiseptic
quality.

5.Tea Tree oil can also be applied directly to infected pores.

6.Vitamin A tablets are also a natural and effective cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

7.Before bathing, apply a mixture of fresh tomato pulp, honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off.

8.Juice of raw papaya is the best treatment for pimples.Apply fresh juice of raw papaya on pimples and get a good result.

9.Directly rub potato slices all over the face, helps to get rid of blemishes and
pimple scar.

10.Drink plenty of water and vegetable or fruit juices.

11.Use cucumber or other fruit and vegetable packs to cure pimple scars.

12.Maintain a diet that is rich in cottage cheese, salads, fresh juices, fish and
yogurt. These help to cleanse your system and ward off pimples.

13.Another overnight home remedy for pimples is to put a dab of toothpaste on it to help dry it out. Calamine lotion also will have the same drying effect.

14.Pound orange peel with water and apply to affected areas.

15.Another useful remedy for pimples is zinc. Which can be taken in a dose of 50 mg daily for a month and then reduce the dose.

16.You can clean your skin with apple cider vinegar as an overnight home pimple remedy.

17.Aspirin contains Beta hydroxy acid which is a powerful defoliant ,so you can crush 1to 2 Aspirin tablets mix with a little water and apply on pimples for 15 minutes and wash.

Finally, certain medications may temporarily alter the hormonal changes prevalent during adolescence and cause pimple outbreaks. If this is the case, a simple adjustment in medication may be all that is required.

Routine Of Aerobic Exercise

The dictionary meaning of the word aerobic is “depending on free oxygen or air”. In living organisms, it denotes the consumption of oxygen in the metabolic processes of the body. The physical exercises which raise the use of oxygen by the body in its energy-generating operations, are known as the aerobic exercises. Aerobic exercise are among the highly appreciated physical-fitness-activities and is recommended by avowed exercise enthusiasts.

The benefit of aerobic exercise are many. The most important benefit is that they increase oxygen and blood circulation in the body. They raise the metabolic rate and tones the muscles. Aerobic exercises are quite simple and fun drills that are done playfully. A pair of good quality shoes, little space and your favorite high-beat music sets you ready to perform it at home only.

According to fitness experts, aerobic exercise should be performed at moderate levels in extended period of time. A typical aerobic exercise routine involves three phases, warming up, intensive movements and cooling down. Here is a brief description of all the three stages of an aerobic exercise session.

Warming-up Phase: Warming up is necessary before any strenuous activity as it stretches and loosens the body muscles. Warming-up prevents you from muscle cramp, muscle fatigue and injuries due to sudden jerk. You can warm up your body in several ways such as walk for about three minutes, climb the stairs or just step-touch backward and forward. Many sportsmen prefer warming up by bending forward and touching the toes for a count of 20-30. You can do other simple things like moving your arms one by one in circular motion, jumping for about five minutes, etc. You are ready for the next period when you feel your body warm and loosened up.

Comprehensive Phase: The comprehensive phase should last for about thirty minutes. Put on your preferred fast beat music. Repeat the below-mentioned movements to a count of six. The first movement is, step with your left foot, bend and try to touch the ground with the toe of the right foot. Do it alternatively as well. The second movement is to step your left foot, bend forward and touch the ground with the heel of your right foot. Do this movement alternatively. Step your left foot and raise your right foot and do it alternatively. The other aerobic movements involve moving four steps forward, backward and on the sides. Repeat this movement to a count of eight. Raise your arms towards the ceiling and bring them back down. Repeat this movement for a count of ten. Jump up and down for a few minutes. All these movements increase your heart beat, which itself raises the oxygen consumption. Physical activities such as swimming, rope-skipping and cycling are other examples of aerobic exercises. When you have been sweating for about ten minutes, you are ready to start with the final phase of the aerobic exercise routine.

Fact OF Pms

A woman’s menstrual cycle is a natural part of life and should be regarded as such. Without it, we would not be able to reproduce and have children. As much as we appreciate this part of our womanhood, there are some things we’re not so grateful for. One of these is PMS or premenstrual syndrome. PMS was once thought to be a figment of women’s imagination, but no longer. There is plenty of medical proof to explain this problem. There are also plenty of things we can do to help the situation. Continue reading this article to see if any of these ideas will give you some much needed relief.

Symptoms

Unfortunately, there are more than 100 symptoms of PMS. This tells you how many problems women can have with this time of the month. Some of the most common problems are:

  • Headaches
  • Migraines
  • Sore breasts
  • Weight gain
  • Backache
  • Bloating
  • Cramping

Causes

Most women are very familiar with these symptoms but you may be wondering why you have these symptoms. There are two main reasons.

First, as you go through your cycle, your hormone levels change during the month depending on which phase you are in. It is these hormone changes that cause the migraines, sore breasts, weight gain, backache, bloating and cramping.

During the month, your serotonin levels also change. Serotonin is the brain chemical that helps to manage mood, sleep cycles, and your appetite. These changes cause you to have mood swings. You may be irritable, more aggressive, and angry for no reason. You can also experience food cravings just like when you’re pregnant.

As bothersome as the above mentioned symptoms are, things can actually be worse. Some women suffer from extreme PMS that is referred to as premenstrual dysphonic disorder. The acronym for this is PMDD.

When a woman has this, she often feels like she has completely lost control over her life and she often suffers from depression . She may withdraw from her family and friends and may reach a point where she just can’t cope with life anymore.

If you have the symptoms of PMDD, you need to talk with your doctor. PMDD is very serious and you will need medication to overcome it. You may be prescribed an anti-depressant if you suffer from PMDD. Anti-depressants will stabilize your serotonin levels.

It is no secret that an addiction to cigarettes is one of the toughest habits to break. While there are some people who can quit by the strength of will power alone, the vast majority of the smoking population requires the assistance of cessation aids and numerous attempts before quitting cigarettes for good. But with medical reports and statistics piling up over the years detailing the dangers of nicotine, the need to stop smoking has become more of a trend than smoking ever was.

Quitting cigarettes requires more than will power for most people, though. The addiction to tobacco is not only physical but mental and emotional. Smoking a cigarette becomes part of life for the addicted, and many need to completely readjust their lifestyles in order to successfully kick the habit.

A complete change in daily routine might be necessary. If smoking with coffee in the morning was a habit, there may be a need to start the day with water or juice instead. If smoking after meals was the norm, it might be helpful to immediately go for a walk after meals. Some form of exercise should be integrated into daily life as well, since the body will be craving some form of adrenaline that could be found in the healthy feeling that exercise provides.
