There is no relationship to any of this. Children can get pneumonias as easily as adults and they often get frequent viral illnesses as they build their immunity to these with each illness. And adults can easily get either viral illnesses or bacterial illnesses. There is no age restrictions on either of these illnesses – they strike all ages.
