Women with Type 1 diabetes, how long did it take you to conceive?
I have the Type 1 diebetic for eleven years. My father as good as we have only proposed TTC. we consternation how prolonged it took alternative women to rise diabetes as good as they had miscarriages, how many? How good your red blood glucose has been contorlled prior to as good as during pregnancy?

Well it really depends because everyone is different. My friend who has diabetes it toke her about 3 months to conceive and she did not have any micarriages before that. Talk to your doctor he will be able to tell you about controlling your blood glucose. Good luck!

I’m not, but my favorite aunt has type 1. She and my uncle conceived within just 3 months of her stopping birth control, and that first pregnancy was kinda tough, due to her weight gain, and had a hard delivery (baby cousin was 9.5 lbs), but she did deliver vaginally. I know she had to test much more frequently while she was pregnant, and just be always watchful with food and insulin. It was much harder for her to control her blood sugar when she was pregnant. She never miscarried, but her second pregnancy nearly killed her, and she had her tubes tied after that, but both of those kids are fine, and she’s a very well controlled diabetic still – my cousins are both in college now.
