Old body is always in a need of essential nutrition. Hence, the diet of older people must contain foods that are rich in high carbohydrates content, high fiber content and high calcium content. Older people must maintain an optimum level of hydration by taking sufficient amount of water on a daily basis. On an average, an older person must take six to eight glasses of water to stay healthy and active.
